We made it, and we couldn't have done it without all your help, love, and support! I want to give a sincere and heartfelt thank you to every single person that voted for us, liked a post, shared a post, or left an encouraging comment. Your simple act has helped us more than you can imagine.
Now that we are in the finals, MC² will receive a kiosk booth in the new products showcase at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this November. This will be a huge opportunity to get our name out to everyone attending the show. We will also be competing in a live presentation to a panel of five judges. If we can win, the prizes will be life changing:
We will keep everyone up to date with developments in the contest. Stay tuned.
Seems like the last four weeks went by in a blink of the eye. We have been working hard on finishing in the top ten for the SEMA Launch Pad, and so far that hard work is paying off. SEMA isn't giving us actual voting numbers, but they are letting us know each week who is in the top ten. We have been on the top ten list in each weekly update! Thank you for all the love and support we have received. It means so much to us, we know we couldn't do this alone.
The SEMA Launch Pad competition runs through September 1st, so we need to make sure to finish strong. If you haven't voted yet, please click the link and vote now. https://www.sema.org/launch-pad/vote
In other news... Travis Lovett took 2nd place at Windrock Offroad Park July 25th.
Then he had an amazing save at the AOP $50k Bounty Hill and finished the hill (2:39). Lovett is currently 2nd in the points standings for the Southern Rock Racing Series. Needless to say, the Hitman can drive! MC² is proud to be in Killshot!
I am sitting at the computer in my office as I type this, eagerly awaiting the link to the Facebook voting to begin the #SEMALaunchPad competition. There are plenty of other tasks at hand, but 98.7% of my brain activity is focused on the SEMA Launch Pad. The other 1.3% is probably making sure I don't stop breathing, and my heart keeps pumping.
Seriously, going to the SEMA Show has been a dream since I was a boy. In November of 2015, I finally attended the show with my wife. The SEMA Show was so big and we walked so much, she didn't go days two or three. By day four, my feet and knees were destroyed, the show was over, and I still didn't get to see everything. To say I was amazed would be an understatement.
I was also a little sad. I went to the show to check it out and see how MC² could do with a booth. My honest assessment was that we were not ready for a show of this magnitude. MC² is a small company with a small budget to match, no way we could compete for attention amongst the circus spectacle I had just witnessed. I thought maybe in a few years we would be ready, but certainly no plans would be made to go to the 2016 show. They say if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.
Fast forward to June 2016, and I open an email to find out I have been selected as a semifinalist for the SEMA Launch Pad competition. I almost forgot I applied a few months earlier, and now I'm being flow to Vegas to attend the Exhibitors Summit and film a video for the Facebook voting competition! Does it get any better than this? Yes, by being a finalist! The top ten finalist get a kiosk booth at the 2016 SEMA Show, and a chance to present their business to a panel of judges.
The winner of the grand prize gets:
This is a huge opportunity for MC², and I need your help to get to the finals.
Please follow the link and vote for me. I can't do it without your support. Thank you!
Just got back from the SEMA Exhibitors Summit in Las Vegas. I was filming an interview that will be used in the #SEMALaunchPad competition. And it will definitely be a competition. Everyone I meet was really cool, and they all have awesome products!
Obviously I want to win, but I don't think I would feel bad if I am beaten by anyone in this picture.
On an unrelated note, remember the Eggs from the Unlimited Offroad Expo that needed to hatch. Chirp! Chirp! Travis "Hitman" Lovett is now a part of the MC² family. He has a sweet rockbouncer named Killshot. Check him out in the video below. Stay tuned for more hits from Travis in the future.
The Unlimited Off Road Expo has been a blast the last two years, and this year was no exception. We met some very cool people, and made some great new contacts. We also got a chance to see people who have now seem like old friends.
I don't want to count any chickens before they are hatched, but I think we are going to have some awesome guys (and maybe a gal or two) joining the team with product sponsorships. And we may have an in with a player in the world of performance parts. We are going to have to wait for these chicks to break through their shells before I can say much else.
One of the nicest guys I know won best in show
for the Show and Shine. Somehow I forgot to get
a picture of it, but at least we got one with all
our ugly mugs in it.
Congratulations Bill Blaisdell, all your hard work really paid off on the Grimm Creeper.
I am also honored to announce MC² was chosen as a semifinalist for the SEMA Launch Pad competition. I will be flying to Las Vegas for the second stage of the competition in two weeks. VEGAS BABY!
Great question, I'm glad you asked. On Friday we shipped another order to the oil company in Asia using MC² as an additive in their oil.
We've also been getting really excited about the upcoming Unlimited Off-Road Expo in Louisville, KY.
The Unlimited Off-Road Expo will be at the Kentucky Expo Center June 3rd-5th. It is going to be awesome! Speaking of awesome, Ford is going to give away an F-150. And check out this photo of Ultra4 racer Derek West. If you look closely you can almost make out the MC² sticker on the back panel... also awesome!
Come by our booth. It's number 522. We can get you hooked up with some MC² for your ride.
See you further down the road,
"I use a good oil, that's all I need. Why should I use MC²? I don't care how much friction is in my engine."
Last week we set 23 horses free from friction. This isn't additional horsepower, this is power that is wasted overcoming the internal friction inside the motor. How else can you coax an extra 23 horsepower out of your car? How much would you spend on parts to get those ponies? How about $19.99 for bottle that will not only make your vehicle run stronger, but reduce the wear and lower temperatures?
Try it, you will want to use it with every oil change. If you don't, we have a money back guarantee. You only need 2 ounces per quart. Go to our store and buy some.
Yesterday we met with a great customer of ours, John M. Hill from Pleasant Hill, IL. He's been using MC² for three years and had some great things to say about us.
Thanks for letting us get the testimony on video John, and thanks for spreading the word about MC² in Pleasant Hill and now, world wide.
